1942 Mack Restoration Project: Phase 3
The cab and body are stripped, removed, and stored outside until the time comes to work on them.
The chasis, engine, wheels, and pump are all cleaned, primed, and painted.
The wheels are then pulled and the brakes are checked. All 4 wheel cylinders and the master cylinder had to be replaced.
The Engine, pump, chasis, and wheels are finally completed.
The cab is then cleaned, sanded, primed, and painted.
The cab is then taken to a back shed for the paint to harden and await re-mounting on the truck.
Keep an eye out for phase 4 in the near future.
